About HygiaLink

HygiaLink improves treatment speed allowing EMTs to treat more people. In a situation requiring triage, the time to treat each person is a major factor.

HygiaLink gives the option to share only the information the user feels comfortable transferring to the EMTs, the hospital, the PCP, and family members. The records are received instantly when the patient’s fingerprint is scanned, and with two-layer multi-party encryption, the strongest available for privacy and security. HygiaLink transfers a patient’s medical information instantly to the emergency medical team accurately and securely.

For health care providers and hospitals, HygiaLink minimizes errors, mortality rates, and lawsuits from possible misdiagnoses or treatment delays resulting in long-term injury or death.

HygiaLink is built using HIPAA standards. To adhere to these requirements, the user is the only person who can add information to the file, and the document transferred to the EMT and the hospital is the maximum allowable information to transfer under the HIPAA standard.

Businesses and organizations benefit by offering HygiaLink to members. Examples include children’s athletic programs, school districts, AARP for seniors, and wellness plans of corporations/businesses. Pharmacies display HygiaLink sign-ups at point of sale counters. Insurance companies offer lower rates to policy members who sign up for HygiaLink.
